Patria completes acquisition of ILIAS Solutions
Defense company Patria has finalized the acquisition of Belgium-based digital defense platform provider ILIAS Solutions. The deal strengthens Patria's digital capabilities in the defense sector.
Defense and technology company Patria announced on September 1, 2025, that it has completed the acquisition of ILIAS Solutions, a Belgian provider of digital defense platforms. Following necessary authority approvals, the transaction is now officially concluded.
The acquisition is expected to bolster Patria's position in the digital transformation of the defense industry. ILIAS Solutions' software suite will be integrated into Patria's OPTIME service concept to enhance life-cycle management and analytical capabilities.
Pekka Ruutu, Executive Vice-President of Sustainment Solutions at Patria, stated that the acquisition will deliver faster insights, improved asset visibility, and smarter sustainment solutions to customers. ILIAS Solutions CEO Jean-Pierre Wildschut highlighted the complementary nature of the companies and the significant growth potential.
ILIAS Solutions will continue to operate as a distinct brand within the Patria group. The company has offices in Belgium, the Netherlands, the US, Denmark, and Australia. The acquisition price was not disclosed.
