Defense group Patria Group reported that its net sales and operating profit (EBIT) improved at an accelerating pace during the first half of 2026. The company's interim report covers the period from January 1 to June 30, 2026, showing significant growth compared to the previous year.

New orders received during the reporting period amounted to EUR 553.4 million, a 22.0% increase year-on-year. The order stock grew by 44.0% to EUR 3,491.0 million over the same period. This substantial order backlog is expected to ensure the company's future revenue and operational results. Patria operates in the international defense and aerospace markets, providing solutions for aircraft and vehicle systems, as well as ammunition.

The company's strategy has focused on organic growth and pursuing new business opportunities, particularly in the Nordic and European markets. As of the end of 2025, Patria's order stock stood at EUR 3,526.1 million.

Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, Patria anticipates continued profit improvement, although the growth rate may moderate from the strong first-half performance. The company's CEO indicated that the robust order backlog and international demand support this positive outlook.
