Patria signs Letter of Intent with Ukrainian drone maker General Cherry

Finnish defense firm Patria announced it has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Ukrainian drone manufacturer Center of Unmanned Technologies LLC, also known as General Cherry. The agreement was formalized on August 23, 2026.

Under the terms of the LoI, Patria intends to explore initiating drone production within Finland. This move is aimed at bolstering European defense capabilities and advancing Patria's position in defense technology development.
