Patria's Development Director: Not All Potential is Being Harnessed

Patria's Director of Development, Pasi Niinikoski, has stated that the Finnish defense and aerospace company Patria possesses significant potential that is not yet being fully exploited.

Niinikoski, who was appointed Director of Development in September 2018, focuses on strategic planning and execution, as well as business development. He previously led Patria's Systems business unit since 2006.

"The essential task is to unleash all the potential and expertise found within our personnel," Niinikoski said. He believes this requires a clearer shared vision and the development of a supporting leadership culture.

Strategic priorities for the coming years include internationalizing maintenance and repair services, the HX fighter jet program, and new products in the Systems and Land business areas. Niinikoski stresses the need for swift reactions in achieving strategic goals.

Niinikoski also highlights the importance of cooperation at the European level for the company's operations and mentioned that his broad responsibilities include collaborating with key stakeholders.
