PaXini Raises 1 Billion Yuan for Tactile Sensing Technology Expansion
Embodied-AI startup PaXini announced on August 3rd it has raised 1 billion yuan in a strategic funding round. The capital will support research and development, capacity expansion, and overseas growth.

PaXini, a startup focused on embodied artificial intelligence, has secured 1 billion yuan (approximately $138 million USD) in a strategic funding round, bringing its total cumulative fundraising to 3.5 billion yuan. The announcement was made on August 3rd.
The funding round was jointly led by an undisclosed global consumer electronics and semiconductor group, BOC International Investment, Kunpeng Fund, and Hexin Fangce. Existing investor Zhílai Capital also participated, along with Dinghui Baifu, Chengdu Jiazi AI Fund, Jingming Capital, and Tianjin Rongguo Sheng.
PaXini develops tactile sensing technology designed to provide AI systems with a sense of touch. The company reported that nearly one million units of its tactile sensing chips were shipped over the past year. The newly acquired funds are intended to bolster the company's research and development efforts, expand its manufacturing capacity, and fuel international market expansion.
