Payments startup Morph joins Mastercard's Crypto Partner Program

Morph, a startup specializing in cross-border payments, announced its inclusion in Mastercard’s Crypto Partner Program on September 30. This strategic move is expected to foster collaboration opportunities within the digital asset space, though it does not currently signify a live payment integration with Mastercard.

The Crypto Partner Program is part of Mastercard's digital asset solutions business, designed to facilitate partnerships with crypto-native companies and financial institutions. This suggests a collaborative framework rather than an immediate product launch. The initiative aligns with Mastercard's broader strategy to enhance the utility of stablecoins, following their expansion of settlement capabilities to include this asset class in June 2026.

Morph offers a product named Morph Payments, which assists Web3 companies, agencies, and creators in invoicing international clients, receiving stablecoins directly into their wallets, and tracking payments through a dedicated dashboard. The platform supports transactions across eight blockchain networks, including TRON and Solana.

Morph's participation in the Mastercard program could enhance its market presence and pave the way for future integration with traditional financial services, as the company continues to develop its Web3 payment solutions.
