PB Fintech Q1 Profit Doubles YoY to ₹163 Crore, Revenue Up 40%
PB Fintech, the parent company of PolicyBazaar, reported its net profit nearly doubled year-over-year to ₹163 crore in the first quarter of FY27. Operating revenue increased by 40% during the same period.

PB Fintech, the parent company of Indian online insurance aggregator PolicyBazaar, announced a significant increase in its first-quarter (Q1 FY27) financial results. The company's net profit nearly doubled year-over-year, reaching ₹162.9 crore from ₹84.7 crore in the same quarter last fiscal year.
Operating revenue also saw substantial growth, climbing 40% to ₹1,888.3 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹1,348 crore in Q1 FY26. This expansion contributed to total revenues of ₹1,981.3 crore, including other income.
Despite the strong year-over-year performance, PB Fintech's net profit experienced a sequential decline of 38% from ₹261.2 crore in the previous quarter. Similarly, operating revenue decreased by 8% quarter-over-quarter from ₹2,061.3 crore.
Total expenses for the quarter rose 33% year-over-year to ₹1,800.3 crore. The company, which also operates the lending marketplace Paisabazaar, is navigating the competitive landscape of India's burgeoning fintech sector.
