Peab reports increased profitability and sales in half-year report
Construction company Peab today released its half-year report for January–June 2026, indicating strong development with increased net sales and improved operating profit.

The company reported a robust performance, with net sales growing by twelve percent in the second quarter compared to the same period last year. Both operating profit and operating margin also saw improvements.
Jesper Göransson, President and CEO of Peab, stated that the company achieved a high level of incoming orders during the second quarter, and the order backlog remains at a record high. This indicates continued demand for Peab's services.
Financial figures for the second quarter (April–June 2026) show net sales of SEK 16,778 million, an increase from SEK 14,937 million in the prior year. Operating profit rose to SEK 925 million from SEK 760 million, with the operating margin reaching 5.5 percent.
The report also highlights a strong order intake for the quarter and a record order backlog. This performance suggests Peab is maintaining a solid position within the construction sector.
