Peab to build 135 Lumo rental apartments in Espoo's Leppävaara

Construction company Peab Oy and Kojamo Group's Lumo Kodit Oy have begun construction of 135 Lumo rental apartments in Leppävaara, Espoo. The property is located at Uuno Kailaan katu 5.

The eight-story residential building will contain 135 Lumo apartments, ranging from studios to four-room units. The average apartment size is approximately 48 square meters. The project is slated for completion in November 2019.

Urpo Koivusaari, Project Manager at Lumo Kodit Oy, stated that the new Lumo homes are part of the company's strategic growth in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, driven by urbanization. He highlighted the importance of Leppävaara's diverse services and transport connections to the Lumo housing concept.

Petri Salonen, Unit Director for residential construction in Southern Finland at Peab, described the project as a natural continuation of cooperation with Kojamo Group, referencing Peab's previous high-quality construction projects in the region.
