Peach & Lily Targets "Zombie Cells" in New Eye Cream Campaign

K-beauty brand Peach & Lily has launched its Advanced Rebound BioGLow Zombie Cream, a new skincare product designed to combat aging by targeting "zombie cells." The cream became available on July 27 through the brand's website and as an exclusive retail offering at Ulta Beauty.

The product's name and accompanying marketing campaign draw inspiration from the horror genre, specifically referencing "zombie cells" or senescent cells. These damaged cells, which do not die, release inflammatory signals that contribute to the skin's aging process. Peach & Lily CEO Alicia Yoon stated that the company had been seeking a scientific solution for this issue and developed the cream after extensive research and testing.

The cream's formulation includes Eterwell Youth, derived from an alpine willow plant, which aims to remove senescent cells. It also contains fisetin to calm inflammation and a biosynthetic placenta growth factor complex to repair skin damage. Ulta Beauty Senior Vice President of Marketing Penny Coy highlighted the product's scientifically advanced formulation as a key factor in their decision to make it an exclusive retail partner.

Peach & Lily's marketing approach for the Zombie Cream features actors in zombie makeup and interactive street installations in major cities. The brand previously used unconventional influencer marketing by sending unbranded samples for unbiased reviews, aiming for viral success with this new product launch.
