Peacock Raises Streaming Service Prices

NBCUniversal's streaming service Peacock is raising prices across its subscription tiers. The company's cheapest ad-supported Select tier will increase from $7.99 to $8.99 per month. The Premium plan with ads will go from $10.99 to $12.99 per month.

The ad-free Premium Plus plan will see the largest increase, jumping from $16.99 to $19.99 per month. These price adjustments are set to take effect on August 18 for new or returning subscribers. The changes will also apply to the streamer's annual plans.

Existing subscribers will experience the price hike on their next billing date on or after September 17. Peacock has made consistent price increases over time as it aims to grow profitability in a competitive streaming landscape.
