Peak XV Partners Sells Awfis Shares in $3.6M Bulk Deal

Venture capital firm Peak XV Partners has sold a substantial portion of its stake in coworking space provider Awfis, offloading 1.22 million shares in a bulk deal valued at approximately $3.6 million (₹29.8 crore). The shares were sold at ₹245 apiece, a slight discount to the stock's previous closing price.

This transaction significantly reduces Peak XV's holdings in Awfis. As of the end of June 2026, the firm held a 3.24% stake, or 2.32 million shares. Kritagyata Trust emerged as a major buyer, acquiring 1.15 million shares at ₹244.97 each.

The sale comes as Awfis' share price has experienced a steep decline, falling over 58% in the past year, despite a recent weekly uptick. The stock is trading near its 52-week low and has dropped nearly 50% year-to-date.

Analysts attribute the stock's performance to broader market pressures, institutional selling, and valuation adjustments. Despite the stock's volatility, Awfis has reported strong financial results, with a 140% increase in net profit to ₹24 crore and a nearly 27% rise in revenue to ₹424.9 crore in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027.
