Peak XV Partners Vice President Kriti Gupta to Depart
Kriti Gupta, vice president at Peak XV Partners, is set to leave the venture capital firm after five years. She plans to take a break before her next career move.
Kriti Gupta, a vice president at venture capital firm Peak XV Partners, is departing the company after a five-year tenure. Gupta has indicated she will take some time off before pursuing her next professional opportunity.
Gupta joined the firm, then known as Sequoia Capital, in 2021. Her focus during her time at Peak XV was on early-stage investments, particularly within the consumer sector. Peak XV Partners confirmed Gupta's departure and expressed gratitude for her contributions.
The exit follows a period of leadership changes at Peak XV. Approximately six months prior, three managing directors – Ashish Agrawal, Ishaan Mittal, and Tejeshwi Sharma – left to establish their own venture capital firm, Mettle Capital. Several other senior figures have also departed the firm over the past two years.
Despite this turnover, Peak XV has recently seen significant liquidity events, generating over ₹2,480 crore from exits of companies including Groww, Pine Labs, and Urban Company during the past year.
