Pebble Flow adds solar charging to electric camper for 2027

The demand for electrified camping solutions is growing, and Pebble Flow is responding with an updated version of its electric camper trailer for 2027. The revised Flow model introduces significant enhancements to its solar charging system, enabling campers to replenish the vehicle's battery using renewable energy.

A key feature of the new system is its capability to harness up to 4 kilowatts (kW) of solar power. Pebble Flow estimates this capacity should be sufficient to cover the average daily electricity usage during a camping trip. This aims to reduce reliance on noisy generators and improve the camping experience through quieter operation.

The solar setup for the 2027 model year includes a 2 kW integrated roof panel alongside four portable panels that contribute an additional 2 kW. Earlier Flow models offered an optional 1.1 kWh panel.

The Pebble Flow is built on a 45 kilowatt-hour (kWh) LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery pack. First introduced in 2025, the trailer seeks to provide a sustainable and quiet alternative to traditional camping vehicles.
