Pelico and Boeing to improve C-17 Globemaster III operational readiness
Pelico and Boeing have signed an agreement to modernize the planning and execution of heavy maintenance for the C-17A Globemaster III, aiming to enhance fleet availability.

Pelico announced a strategic agreement with Boeing to modernize the planning and execution of heavy maintenance for the C-17A Globemaster III. The partnership focuses on improving the aircraft's operational readiness through Pelico's AI-powered production orchestration platform.
Under the agreement, Pelico's platform will serve as a unified, AI-optimized workspace. The objective is to reduce shop-visit durations, increase fleet availability, and make delivery timelines more predictable by interconnecting workflows and operations related to procurement, engineering, planning, and shop maintenance.
"Our customers rely on us to help keep their fleets safe, and Pelico’s platform will provide us with a clear, comprehensive view of potential maintenance and support challenges, allowing us to operate and act more effectively, reduce aircraft downtime, and meet our commitments," said Turbo Sjogren, Vice President and General Manager, Government Services at Boeing Global Services.
The platform is expected to replace fragmented, spreadsheet-based processes with a shared, real-time view of material shortages, bottlenecks, and maintenance priorities. This initiative builds upon a successful prior deployment of Pelico's platform within Boeing Global Services' commercial parts business, which demonstrated significant backlog reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
