Pelico to Modernize Boeing C-17 Maintenance with AI Platform
Pelico and Boeing have signed an agreement to modernize the planning and execution of heavy maintenance for the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft using an AI-enabled platform.

Pelico has entered into an agreement with Boeing to modernize the planning and execution of heavy maintenance for the C-17A Globemaster III aircraft. The collaboration will implement Pelico's Manufacturing Orchestration Platform as a unified, AI-enabled workspace.
The platform aims to reduce depot cycle times, enhance fleet availability, and improve the predictability of aircraft delivery by connecting supply chain, engineering, planning, and depot operations. This initiative is expected to replace fragmented, spreadsheet-dependent processes with a real-time, shared view of material shortages, bottlenecks, and maintenance priorities.
Turbo Sjogren, Vice President and General Manager of Government Services at Boeing Global Services, stated that the platform will provide a comprehensive view of sustainment and support challenges, allowing for more efficient operations and reduced out-of-fleet time. This agreement builds on prior validation of Pelico's platform in Boeing's commercial spare parts operations, which demonstrated significant backlog reduction and efficiency gains.
Tarik Benabdallah, CEO of Pelico, noted the complexity of sustaining aging aircraft fleets. He explained that Pelico's solution will offer Boeing visibility into intricate dependencies across supply, production, and repair, enabling teams to proactively identify disruptions and coordinate actions. The companies will also explore applying similar digital tools to other aircraft platforms.
The partnership was announced at the Farnborough International Airshow. Both companies will assess the potential for these digital tools to support sustainment operations across additional Boeing platforms.
