PenFed Credit Union Launches Defender Rewards Visa Card for Military
PenFed Credit Union has introduced the PenFed Defender Rewards Visa Signature Card, offering benefits for U.S. military members and bonus earnings on purchases in key spending categories.
Tysons, Virginia – PenFed Credit Union, one of the nation's largest federal credit unions, has launched its new PenFed Defender Rewards™ Visa Signature® Card. The card is designed to recognize and reward military members with exclusive benefits, including triple points on purchases at military commissaries and exchange stores.
The card aims to acknowledge and reward military personnel for purchases tied to military life. The new card also offers bonus earnings on high-spend categories, such as 5x points on gas at the pump and EV charging, and 3x points on supermarkets, restaurants, and streaming services.

Additional benefits include 15,000 bonus points for spending $1,500 in the first 90 days. The card carries a $0 annual fee and no foreign transaction fees. Cardholders can also choose from two new card designs inspired by imagery representing military affiliation.
