Pennsylvania Housing Market Reaches New Price Milestone

Pennsylvania's housing market recorded a new milestone in June, with the median home sales price reaching $340,000. This represents an increase of over 6% compared to June 2025, when the median price was $320,000, according to the latest report from the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors (PAR).

The market also saw an increase in sales volume, with over 13,000 transactions completed in June. Sales were up more than 19% from May and 3% year-over-year. The number of available listings saw a slight month-over-month increase but decreased by approximately 3% year-over-year, totaling 45,870 listings in June.

PAR attributes the rising prices to steady buyer demand, limited inventory, and confidence in real estate as a long-term investment. While higher prices benefit current homeowners by increasing equity, they also necessitate greater preparation from prospective buyers.
