Pentair Investors Reminded of Class Action Lawsuit Deadline

New York, NY – The law firm Faruqi & Faruqi LLP is investigating Pentair plc and is reminding investors of the October 2, 2026 deadline to seek the role of lead plaintiff in a federal securities class action lawsuit filed against the company.

The lawsuit alleges that Pentair and its executives violated federal securities laws by making false or misleading statements. Specifically, the complaint claims the company failed to disclose significant inventory destocking in its Pool channel, which negatively impacted its sales and operating income. These omissions allegedly rendered the company's positive statements about its business and prospects materially misleading.

The situation came to light on July 14, 2026, when Pentair released preliminary second quarter 2026 financial results. The company estimated that inventory destocking impacted Pool segment sales by approximately $170 million and segment income by approximately $105 million. Consequently, second quarter sales were projected to decrease by 17 percent, and full-year sales were expected to decline by 4-7 percent. The company also announced the immediate departure of its Chief Financial Officer.

Following this news, Pentair's stock price fell $11.35, or 15%, to close at $64.33 per share on July 15, 2026. Faruqi & Faruqi LLP encourages investors who suffered losses and wish to discuss their legal rights to contact Josh Wilson directly at 877-247-4292 or 212-983-9330 (Ext. 1310).
