Per Långsved Appointed CEO of Nordea Life & Pension

Per Långsved, currently heading Personal Banking in Sweden, has been appointed CEO of Nordea Life & Pension, effective March 1, 2025. He will also continue in his role as Country Senior Executive for Sweden.

Långsved succeeds Petteri Änkilä, who has been appointed Head of Large Corporates & Institutions and a member of Nordea’s Group Leadership Team. The appointment is pending regulatory approval.

The move by Nordea, a major Nordic financial services group, signals a continued focus on its life and pension business segment across the region. Långsved's prior success in delivering strategic targets is expected to drive this unit forward.

Frank Vang-Jensen, President and Group CEO of Nordea, expressed confidence in Långsved's leadership. He highlighted Långsved's experience, commitment, and drive as key assets for executing the company's strategy within the life and pension sector, expecting continued growth.
