Performance test results for Samsung's first Googlebook device, model XE940SXA, have appeared on Geekbench. The device is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite processor and 16GB of RAM.
Performance benchmarks for Samsung's upcoming Googlebook device, identified by the model number XE940SXA, have surfaced on the Geekbench platform. The test results indicate the device scored 2,513 points in single-core performance and 15,214 points in multi-core performance.
Under the hood, the device features Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite processor, paired with 16GB of RAM. The processor is designed with 12 cores, with clock speeds ranging from 3.42GHz to 4.01GHz. Graphics processing is handled by an Adreno X1-85 GPU.
The Googlebook represents Google's initiative for a new line of devices running an Android-based operating system, aiming to compete in the broader computing market. Google unveiled five Googlebook models from partners including Asus, Acer, HP, Dell, and Lenovo during an event in September.
