Performance Brokerage Services Advises on Genesis of Glenview Sale

Performance Brokerage Services announced Tuesday it advised on the sale of Genesis of Glenview to Joe Ghaben. The firm specializes in buy-sell activities for automobile dealerships across North America.

Joe Ghaben, who leads Ghaben Auto Group, has established a presence in the Chicago area automotive market for over two decades. Ghaben Auto Group's existing portfolio includes Volkswagen of Oak Lawn, Volkswagen of Orland Park, and Ultimo Motors, a luxury pre-owned vehicle dealership.

The Genesis of Glenview dealership will continue to operate under its current name and is relocating to 2929 Patriot Boulevard in Glenview, Illinois. Ghaben described the acquisition process with Performance Brokerage Services as a positive experience, citing their professionalism and responsiveness.

Performance Brokerage Services stated that it has advised on the sale of nearly 450 dealerships in the past five years. Paul Kechnie and Matt Willis of Performance Brokerage Services served as the sell-side advisors for this transaction. Willis noted that Ghaben was identified as an ideal buyer due to his experience, financial capacity, and forward-looking approach.
