Pernod Ricard Completes Acquisition of MALFY Gin

Pernod Ricard has confirmed the completion of its acquisition of MALFY, an Italian super-premium gin. The company initially announced its intention to acquire the brand in April 2019.

The MALFY range includes four varieties: Originale, Con Limone, Con Arancia, and Gin Rosa. These gins are distilled using distinct Italian ingredients, such as juniper berries, lemons cultivated on the Italian coast, Sicilian blood oranges, and pink grapefruits.

The acquisition strengthens Pernod Ricard's position in the premium spirits market and enhances its offering, particularly within the gin category. The purchase of MALFY provides Pernod Ricard with access to the rapidly growing super-premium gin market.
