Pernod Ricard Exhibits Kourtney Roy's Art Campaign at Paris Photo
Pernod Ricard is showcasing its 43rd annual art campaign, "Go the Extra Mile," created by Canadian artist Kourtney Roy, at Paris Photo in November 2018. The campaign features company employees in cinematic photographs taken in Las Vegas.

Pernod Ricard, the global spirits producer, is exhibiting its annual art campaign at Paris Photo, the preeminent photography event held at the Grand Palais from November 8-11, 2018. This year's "Carte Blanche" commission was awarded to Canadian artist Kourtney Roy for her series titled "Go the Extra Mile."
The campaign features 18 Pernod Ricard employees who served as models for Roy's lens in Las Vegas. The resulting photographs draw heavily from American cinema, adopting its characteristic settings, costumes, and body language. This marks Pernod Ricard's fourth consecutive year participating in Paris Photo.
"Go the Extra Mile" continues Pernod Ricard's tradition of supporting fine arts and photography. Olivier Cavil, Pernod Ricard's Communications Director, stated that Roy's stylized universe succeeds last year's portraits and highlights the collaborators' self-transcendence and pride. Aligning with its "Créateurs de convivialité" vision, Pernod Ricard also offered 1,000 public invitations to Paris Photo.
The full campaign is on display at Paris Photo on stand D1. Additionally, an exclusive video by Roy, titled "So Beautiful," showcasing the featured employees, has been released.
