Pernod Ricard, a global leader in wines and spirits, announced the successful completion of a €1.5 billion bond issuance. The offering was divided into two tranches: €700 million maturing in 6.5 years and €800 million maturing in 10 years. The company secured favorable terms, with coupon rates set at 3.375% and 3.625% respectively.

The issuance reflects Pernod Ricard's strong credit profile, with its long-term senior debt currently rated Baa1 (stable) by Moody's and BBB+ (stable) by Standard & Poor's. The new bonds are expected to carry the same ratings.

Proceeds from the bond sale will be used for Pernod Ricard's general corporate purposes. The bonds were placed with qualified investors, and an application will be made to list them on Euronext Paris.

The transaction was managed by a syndicate of banks acting as joint bookrunners, including Citi, Credit Agricole CIB, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, Natixis, and Société Générale.
