Perpetua Medical Subsidiary Reaches Supplier Agreement for New Probe Cleaning System
Perpetua Medical's subsidiary ES-Medical has secured an agreement with its main supplier, enabling the resumption of its C10 platform production and the development of a next-generation cleaning system for TEE probes.
Perpetua Medical AB announced that its subsidiary ES-Medical has reached an agreement with its primary supplier, Ecolab. This agreement allows ES-Medical to resume production and sales of its established C10 platform and to develop and commercialize a new generation of cleaning systems for transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) probes.
ES-Medical currently has an installed base of approximately 300 systems, with a significant presence in Scandinavia and Central Europe. The company has developed specialized expertise in the cleaning and handling of TEE probes, which are critical instruments in cardiology.
The new agreement is expected to resolve prior production limitations and support ES-Medical's growth strategy. Proper cleaning and handling of TEE probes are essential for patient safety and maintaining the longevity of medical equipment used in cardiac imaging.
Further details regarding the implications of this supplier agreement on the company's product development and market position are anticipated.
