Pfizer Inc. is inviting applications for its postdoctoral training program, which focuses on research in disease biology, drug delivery, mechanisms of action, and computational science. The program aims to translate basic scientific research into medicines for patients globally.
The program hosts over 40 postdocs across approximately a dozen company campuses. Participants engage in research across a wide range of disciplines, including artificial intelligence, biotherapeutics, clinical pharmacology, data science, inflammation and immunology, and oncology.
Each fellow is assigned a Scientific Advisory Committee to guide their training and mentorship. The average tenure for a postdoc at Pfizer is between two to four years, with research progress closely monitored.
Pfizer's program includes an annual symposium for postdocs to present their work and network with peers and the broader scientific community. Regular work-in-progress meetings and journal clubs are also part of the program to support professional development and provide feedback.
