Phantom Blade Zero nominated for 2026 Golden Joystick Awards
S-Game's action title Phantom Blade Zero has been selected as a nominee for the 2026 Golden Joystick Awards ahead of its October 29 release.
Phantom Blade Zero, an action game developed by the Chinese studio S-Game, has been shortlisted for the 2026 Golden Joystick Awards. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on November 11, marking another milestone for the long-standing industry event established in 1983.
Built using Unreal Engine 5, the game features a dark, wuxia-inspired narrative in which players control a swordsman attempting to uncover a conspiracy while operating under a strictly limited timeframe. The project emphasizes fast-paced combat mechanics within a stylized martial arts setting.
The game is scheduled for release on October 29 for PC and PlayStation 5, with prices set at 268 yuan for the standard edition and 328 yuan for the deluxe edition. A physical disk version for the PlayStation 5 is planned for a 2027 release.
