Phantom Blade Zero Releases First Patch Following 4 Million Unit Sales
Phantom Blade Zero has issued its first patch, version 1.0302256, aimed at technical optimization and combat balance following a rapid 4-million-unit sales milestone.
Phantom Blade Zero, released on October 29 for PS5 and PC, has received its first software update, version 1.0302256. This comes shortly after the developer announced that the title reached 4 million units in sales within the first 72 hours of its debut.
The update focuses heavily on the PC version, introducing a modified shader compilation process that significantly reduces game startup times by removing the default requirement to compile ray tracing shaders at launch. Additionally, the patch addresses input lag issues associated with Bluetooth controllers and refines NVIDIA Reflex integration when V-Sync is enabled.
Beyond technical performance, the patch introduces combat adjustments, including modified encounter difficulty for specific bosses and enhanced hit feedback. Several progression-blocking bugs and graphical anomalies, including rendering issues affecting character hair on specific AMD graphics cards, have also been addressed.
