Philips has announced the upcoming release of its Evnia 27M4N8500V monitor. This new model is equipped with a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel, offering a QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution and a rapid 360Hz refresh rate. This specification set is designed to appeal to gamers and users who require exceptionally smooth and responsive visuals.
The monitor has achieved VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, indicating its capability to deliver deep blacks and high contrast ratios for HDR content. It also incorporates presence and eye detection features, allowing for automatic adjustments to screen brightness and color temperature based on ambient lighting conditions. The display provides a standard SDR brightness of 250 nits and a peak HDR brightness of 1000 nits.
Supporting a wide range of color spaces including sRGB, DCI-P3, and AdobeRGB, the Evnia 27M4N8500V aims for accurate color reproduction. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4. An integrated USB hub is also included for peripheral connectivity. The monitor is further complemented by two 5W built-in speakers and Ambiglow ambient lighting on the rear.
