Philips has introduced its new 21.5-inch 22B2N2100 monitor, targeting consumers seeking a higher refresh rate at an accessible price point. The display offers a Full HD resolution (1920x1080) and supports a 120Hz refresh rate, enhancing the smoothness of visuals, particularly in fast-paced content like gaming and video.
The monitor utilizes a VA panel, known for delivering deeper blacks and a superior contrast ratio (3000:1) compared to conventional IPS or TN panels. It features a brightness of 300 nits and covers 99.8% of the sRGB color gamut, making it suitable for general use and content consumption. The GtG response time is rated at 4ms, and the screen includes an anti-glare coating.
Designed for versatility, the 22B2N2100 incorporates a built-in power supply, reducing cable clutter on the desk. The stand supports tilt functionality, and VESA mount compatibility (100x100mm) allows for wall mounting or use with an external arm. Connectivity options include HDMI 1.4 and VGA.
The Philips 22B2N2100 monitor is priced at 599 Chinese Yuan (approximately $82 USD), with some regions offering it for as low as 569.05 Yuan after government subsidies. The product comes with a three-year warranty.
