Philips Releases 5K Monitor 27E2N6900RW with Quad-Mode Dual Refresh Rate

Philips has launched its new 27E2N6900RW home monitor, offering a unique dual-mode refresh rate functionality. The 27-inch display is capable of switching between a 5120x2880 resolution at 75Hz and a 2560x1440 resolution at 300Hz. The monitor is available for purchase at 2969.1 yuan.

The 27E2N6900RW utilizes a 27-inch IPS LCD panel and holds VESA Display HDR 400 certification. It provides a standard SDR brightness of 400 nits and a peak HDR brightness of 450 nits, with a static contrast ratio of 1500:1. The panel boasts a 5ms GtG response time and a 0.3ms MPRT response time. Color coverage is extensive, including 99.8% sRGB, 95% DCI-P3, and 92.6% Adobe RGB. It also supports Display P3 mode, with a color difference (ΔE) of less than 1 in sRGB.

For user comfort and connectivity, the 27E2N6900RW incorporates hardware-level low blue light and flicker-free technology. It also includes a reading mode designed to simulate the experience of reading paper. Connectivity options are robust, featuring HDMI 2.1 (FRL6), Display Port 1.4, and a full-function USB-C port with 96W PD-out power delivery. Additional ports include two USB-A downstream ports and a 3.5mm audio output. The included stand allows for height and tilt adjustments.
