PhotoShelter Launches Video Workflow for Live Broadcasts

PhotoShelter, a digital asset management platform provider, has launched its new Live Stream Video Workflow. This feature enables organizations to ingest live video broadcasts directly into PhotoShelter, allowing teams to clip and distribute highlight moments in real-time while an event is still in progress.

The new workflow addresses the challenge of delayed content distribution from live events. Previously, manual processes for exporting, uploading, and tagging clips could mean that the prime window for sharing a moment had passed. With Live Stream Video Workflow, users can now select key moments as they happen and push them to social media platforms before the broadcast concludes. Upon completion, the full video is automatically archived, tagged with AI, and made searchable.

"We built this so they can be in the moment with their fans, and so nothing from that broadcast ever goes to waste," said Christina Kyriazi, CMO of PhotoShelter.

The capability includes live stream ingest, in-broadcast clipping with AI metadata tagging, and direct integration with Socialie for immediate social distribution. It also features automatic full-broadcast recording and archiving, enhanced by AI Visual Search and PeopleID processing after the stream ends.
