PhytoHealth CEO Recognized for Cancer-Related Fatigue Drug Development
Angel Lee, CEO of PhytoHealth Corporation, has been honored for her role in developing PG2®, the world's first prescription drug approved for treating cancer-related fatigue.

Angel Lee, CEO of PhytoHealth Corporation, has been named one of Taiwan's "Ten Outstanding Young Women" for her contributions to developing PG2®, the world's first prescription drug approved for treating moderate to severe cancer-related fatigue. The distinction highlights her leadership in advancing plant-based medicine.
PhytoHealth's PG2® injection, derived from purified polysaccharides of Astralagus membranaceus, is the first new herbal medicine approved in Taiwan. It is utilized in medical facilities across Taiwan for managing cancer-related fatigue and is covered by Taiwan's National Health Insurance (NHI) for eligible breast cancer patients.
Beyond drug development, PhytoHealth has collaborated with the medical community to raise awareness of cancer-related fatigue, a condition often overlooked and undertreated. This initiative has supported the creation of Taiwan's initial clinical guidelines for addressing the issue.
Leveraging its established clinical experience in Taiwan, PhytoHealth is actively seeking international pharmaceutical and healthcare partners to advance the global development and accessibility of PG2® and its proprietary refined Astragalus polysaccharides (rAPS®) platform.
