Pia Tuomi Appointed Chief People Officer at Scandic Hotels Finland
Pia Tuomi has been appointed Chief People Officer and a member of the executive management team at Scandic Hotels Oy, effective September 1, 2020. She will oversee all people operations.
Pia Tuomi, 50, has been appointed as the new Chief People Officer and a member of the executive management team at Scandic Hotels Oy. The appointment takes effect on September 1, 2020.
In her new role, Tuomi will be responsible for the overall people operations, development of skills and leadership, and management of personnel processes within the company. She will report to Aki Käyhkö, the CEO of Scandic Hotels Oy.

Tuomi brings extensive experience in human resources management. Previously, she held a similar position at Instru Optiikka and served as an HR Business Partner at Oy Hartwall Ab. Scandic Hotels has previously been recognized as the best workplace in Finland twice in the Great Place to Work survey.
