Pico, a subsidiary of ByteDance, is set to release its new mixed-reality headset, the Pico Space Pro. Images of the device have surfaced in Japanese regulatory certification documents, offering the first official glimpse of its design and internal components. The headset is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The certification documents, identified by the number 202-JWM032, detail the external appearance, including the rear head strap, facial interface, and forehead support. While the overall shape aligns with previously leaked developer kit renders, the actual device features a different color scheme and surface treatment, drawing comparisons to Vivo's Vision headset released in 2025.

Further insights come from images showing the headset's internal layout. These include the camera and sensor array on the front, optical modules, and a central cooling fan. The model number, B3110, matches that found in prior U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) filings, suggesting consistency across regulatory bodies.

Originally slated for an earlier release, the Pico Space Pro's launch was rescheduled. The headset is rumored to feature micro-OLED panels with a high pixel density of 4000 PPI. It is also expected to employ a dual-chip architecture, incorporating a proprietary co-processor for computer vision tasks and a new main processor that reportedly offers double the CPU and GPU performance of the current Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2.
