Pictor Launches New PictImager for Targeted Protein Analysis
Pictor Holdings Inc. has unveiled its new PictImager device at ADLM 2026, designed to enhance targeted protein analysis in research laboratories.
Carlsbad, Calif. – Pictor Holdings Inc., a company focused on targeted proteomics, officially debuted its next-generation PictImager® platform at ADLM 2026. The new system integrates Pictor's PictArray® and PictImager® technologies with Pictorial© software into a 96-well workflow, aiming to streamline targeted protein analysis for research laboratories.
The launch represents a significant commercial milestone, as the company begins beta-site engagement ahead of a planned broader commercial release later this year. Targeted protein analysis is gaining traction in research and drug development, but its adoption has been hindered by complex workflows, specialized equipment, and high costs.
Pictor's platform intends to address these barriers by offering compact instrumentation and user-friendly software within the familiar 96-well format. The company states the platform supports various sample types, including serum, plasma, saliva, and cerebrospinal fluid, and is suitable for applications such as biomarker discovery and cancer research.

Attendees at ADLM were among the first to experience the PictImager® system as part of Pictor's integrated proteomics workflow. Pictor has received support in a recently published, peer-reviewed study examining the proteomic analysis of extractable nuclear antigens in autoimmune disease research. The company plans a wider launch of the device later this year.
