Chinese e-commerce platform Pinduoduo has introduced a new expedited delivery service, branded as "Arrive as Early as Tomorrow." This feature, integrated as a primary entry point on the company's homepage, guarantees delivery within one to two days for a curated selection of fresh food items and everyday goods.
The service comes with a missed-delivery promise, providing customers with at least a RMB3 coupon as compensation if the delivery commitment is not met. This initiative aims to enhance customer experience by adding time-definite delivery options to Pinduoduo's existing marketplace.
The "Arrive as Early as Tomorrow" section is positioned alongside Pinduoduo's established subsidy program. It leverages the platform's existing shared warehouse infrastructure, enabling more efficient and reliable logistics. This move expands Pinduoduo's low-price strategy by incorporating faster delivery capabilities.
