Pinduoduo Opens Xiongan Office, Pledges 5000 Jobs
E-commerce giant Pinduoduo has officially opened its new office in China's Xiongan New Area. The company has committed to creating 5,000 jobs in the region over the next year.

Chinese e-commerce platform Pinduoduo has officially opened its new office in the Xiongan New Area. Building signage has been installed, and the first batch of 500 employees is expected to begin working in the new location shortly, with the full staff anticipated to move in by the end of July.
In June, Pinduoduo finalized an agreement to purchase a 12-story office building in Xiongan. This move makes Pinduoduo the first internet company to acquire its own office building in the new area.
The company has established a dedicated team to manage recruitment, onboarding, and training for its Xiongan operations. As of early July, Pinduoduo's Xiongan workforce exceeded 1,200 employees, making it the largest private employer in the area. The company stated that all employees are hired directly through Pinduoduo contracts.
The establishment of the Xiongan office is part of Pinduoduo's expansion and commitment to the region's development. Its presence supports Xiongan's growth as an economic hub.
