Piramal Pharma Solutions has added a new spray drying unit to its specialized peptides facility located in Turbhe, India. The equipment features Band 5 containment capabilities, along with dedicated ventilation, nitrogen supply, and control systems.

The new spray dryer enhances Piramal's capacity to produce peptides and other active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) that require specialized handling. This technology enables more efficient and secure production of sensitive compounds whose stability can be compromised by traditional drying processes.
