Pirelli Introduces New Moto2 Front Tyre at Misano
Pirelli is introducing its new F0749 Moto2 front tyre at the San Marino Grand Prix as part of its development program. The new tyre aims to enhance stability and braking performance.

Pirelli will introduce its new F0749 Moto2 front tyre at the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix in Misano, continuing its front tyre development program that began with the E1089 specification at Aragón.
The F0749 utilizes the soft compound of the standard SC1 but features a new structure designed to improve stability and braking performance. The standard SC1 will remain available for direct comparison. To support testing, each Moto2 rider will be allocated nine front tyres instead of eight for the race weekend.
Pirelli has confirmed the SCX and SC0 compounds for the rear, previously known as development specifications E0126 and E0125. The E0126 was unanimously selected by riders at Misano last year for both qualifying and the race. Moto3 riders will continue with the established SC1 and SC2 combinations front and rear.
The Misano event will provide valuable data on tyre structure, stability, braking, and behavior as part of the ongoing development work with the teams.
