Plainly Launches Workflow Automation Platform for Creative Teams
Plainly has released Plainly Flows, a tool designed to automate repetitive tasks for creative teams. The new platform allows workflows to be configured once, after which resource creation can be delegated to other teams.
London-based Plainly, the company behind the Plainly Videos automation platform, has launched Plainly Flows. The software is designed to automate workflows for creative teams, reducing the burden of repetitive tasks and freeing up creative staff to focus on core creative work.
The new platform allows creative teams to set up their production process one time. After this, the requesting teams can create the necessary resources themselves according to predefined templates. Plainly Flows utilizes artificial intelligence and enables, for example, the automatic creation of video files that align with the company's brand identity.
During initial testing, a company used Plainly Flows to create customized videos for its clients, featuring the CEO's avatar. The customer success team was able to produce 50–70 personalized renewal videos per month. Another user utilized the platform to create on-site event videos and export them in three different image formats through a single workflow.
"Most automation tools have been built around enterprise data, not creative files," stated Nebojša Savičić, CEO of Plainly. "Plainly Flows enables creative teams to translate their production know-how into a workflow that any employee within the company can implement."
