Platinum Equity acquires Warren Valve from Allied Group
Investment firm Platinum Equity has acquired Houston-based valve manufacturer Warren Valve from Allied Group. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Platinum Equity has finalized the acquisition of Warren Valve, a supplier of flow control systems for the energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. The company, formerly a unit of Allied Group, provides engineered valve products for large-scale industrial applications.
Under the terms of the deal, Warren Valve will operate as a standalone entity. Allied Group founder and CEO Marc Herzstein, alongside members of the Warren Valve executive team, have retained minority equity stakes in the company. President and CEO Mark Day will continue to lead the firm.
Platinum Equity stated the acquisition aligns with its strategy to capitalize on infrastructure growth, specifically within the power generation, LNG, and data center markets. The firm, which manages approximately $48 billion in assets, plans to utilize its operational expertise to support Warren Valve's expansion as an independent business.
