Ploti launches AI-focused real estate data layer

Winter Garden, Florida – Ploti has introduced a new real estate data layer specifically for AI agents, consolidating zoning, permit, ownership, rezoning history, and flood data directly from local government sources. The platform aims to make real estate information more verifiable, cost-effective, and accessible for AI-driven research.

Historically, real estate data acquisition has been a costly and manual process, dominated by a few providers who aggregate records from numerous local jurisdictions. Ploti's approach automates this data collection, significantly reducing costs. The company employs automated data agents that retrieve information from municipal GIS servers, permit portals, and public archives, including less structured formats like PDFs.

"The cost of real estate data was never the data itself, but the labor involved in collecting it from thousands of places," stated Brennen Fountain, Founder and CEO of Ploti. "We've built a data company where agents acquire the data and agents use it, enabling us to offer it at a price point accessible to all teams, not just the largest firms."

Ploti currently offers queryable data across 40 states, with its coverage expanding daily. Each dataset is fetched once and stored comprehensively, allowing AI agents to query entire records rather than individual lookups. In one instance, Ploti's agents reconstructed 20 years of rezoning votes from 1,823 meeting documents in two and a half days.

The platform integrates with numerous AI assistants, including ChatGPT and Gemini, and also offers its own web-based agent. Pricing is subscription-based, starting at $50 per county per month, with a seven-day free trial available.
