Plusnet Reorganizes Management, CCO Bert Wilden Steps Down from Operational Sales
Plusnet GmbH is restructuring its management team. Chief Customer Officer Bert Wilden is retiring from his operational sales role after over 26 years, while CEO Ulrich Hoffmann will assume responsibility for retail sales.
Cologne-based telecommunications company Plusnet GmbH has announced a reorganization at the management level. Chief Customer Officer (CCO) Bert Wilden is stepping down from his operational business responsibilities after more than 26 years in leading sales positions at Plusnet. He will continue to serve the company in an advisory capacity.
Effective immediately, CEO Ulrich Hoffmann will take over responsibility for the retail sales division (Retail-Vertrieb). CFO Robert Jelinek-Nacke will be responsible for the wholesale business (Wholesale). This organizational change aims to establish clear accountability for Plusnet's two primary business segments: telecommunications products and solutions for corporate clients, and wholesale services for telecommunications companies.
Bert Wilden, 61, has played a significant role in developing Plusnet into a leading provider of telecommunications services for the German medium-sized business sector. "Bert's collaborative approach in sales has left a lasting mark on Plusnet, both economically and culturally," stated Plusnet CEO Ulrich Hoffmann. He highlighted Wilden's acumen in understanding customer needs, citing long-standing relationships with clients such as ARAG and Rhenus.
"On behalf of the entire company, I thank Bert for his extraordinary commitment and tireless efforts. At the same time, I am pleased that he will continue to advise us, but I also understand his desire to have more time for his private life," Hoffmann added. Plusnet plans to continue its strategic transformation into an integrated service provider, focusing on strengthening online sales and advancing its nationwide fiber optic trading platform, Netbridge.
