PMET Resources Files Amended Technical Report on Lithium Study

PMET Resources Inc. has filed an amended version of its NI 43-101 technical report concerning the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project. The update follows a routine review by Quebec's securities regulator, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).

The revised report includes clarifications and additional disclosures to ensure compliance. Specific adjustments relate to the content of qualified persons' certificates, map formatting and scaling, and clarifications regarding the prospects for economic extraction of cesium, tantalum, and gallium, as well as the cut-off grade for cesium oxide.

The company emphasized that these corrections do not impact the economic or technical conclusions of the original lithium-only feasibility study (FS) published in 2025. PMET Resources also clarified that this amended report is separate from an ongoing updated feasibility study that incorporates tantalum economics, expected in the fourth quarter of this year.

PMET Resources is focused on the exploration and development of lithium and other critical minerals at its Shaakichiuwaanaan Project in Quebec. The 2025 study indicated potential for large-scale mining operations and declared an initial probable mineral reserve of 84.3 million tonnes at 1.26% Li2O. The project's total resources are estimated at 108.0 Mt at 1.40% Li2O and 166 ppm Ta2O5 (Indicated) and 33.4 Mt at 1.33% Li2O and 155 ppm Ta2O5 (Inferred).
