Pocket FM Appoints Abhilash Padival as New CFO
Audio OTT platform Pocket FM has hired Abhilash Padival, former Bank of America director, as its new Chief Financial Officer. Padival will oversee global finance and support international expansion.

Pocket FM, an audio streaming platform, has appointed Abhilash Padival as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Padival joins from Bank of America, where he served as Director of India Investment Banking.
Padival's appointment is intended to bolster Pocket FM's international presence and financial strategy. He will be responsible for the company's global finance organization, including financial strategy, capital allocation, business planning, investor relations, compliance, and corporate governance.
He succeeds Anurag Sharma, who resigned from the CFO position in May. The company stated that Padival will play a key role in strengthening its financial foundation as it expands globally and invests in AI-powered storytelling.
Padival brings extensive experience from the financial sector, including spells at Quess Corp Limited and Avendus Capital. Founded in 2018, Pocket FM has raised substantial funding and was last valued at $750 million in 2024. The company competes with platforms like Kuku FM and Amazon's Audible.
