POCO standardizes supply chain execution with Infios
POCO has gone live with Infios Warehouse Management at its Trebbin logistics center, marking the first step in a nationwide supply chain harmonization program.
POCO, a discount retailer for furniture and home improvement products, has implemented Infios Warehouse Management (WM) at its logistics center in Trebbin. This marks the initial phase of a larger initiative to standardize and modernize the company's supply chain execution processes across its entire logistics network.
Founded in 1989, POCO operates 127 physical stores and a growing e-commerce channel. Its logistics infrastructure includes a central receiving warehouse, regional distribution centers, and an e-commerce fulfillment center.
The company faced challenges with its existing ERP-based systems as operational complexity increased. Specific demands of furniture logistics, such as product dimensions, weight, and the handling of items composed of multiple packages, pushed the capabilities of the legacy modules.
The deployment of Infios WM allows POCO to separate warehouse execution from its ERP system, establishing a modular architecture for intelligent supply chain management. This enables standardization of core processes while allowing for flexible adaptation to local requirements. The Trebbin go-live will serve as a blueprint for subsequent rollouts to seven additional locations planned through 2026.
