Pokémon Legends Z-A Switch 2 physical release with Mega Dimension DLC set for October 29
Nintendo will release a physical Nintendo Switch 2 version of Pokémon Legends Z-A on October 29, including the 'Mega Dimension' DLC.
Nintendo has announced a new physical release for Pokémon Legends Z-A, specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2 console, scheduled for launch on October 29. This edition will include the "Mega Dimension" (超次元爆涌) DLC integrated into the game.
The standard Nintendo Switch 2 version of Pokémon Legends Z-A, without the DLC, was released on October 16, 2025. This new physical release is optimized for the Nintendo Switch 2's performance, resolution, and frame rate. Players can purchase the physical cartridge and later upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2.
The physical edition will also come with a redemption code for 100 Ultra Balls, usable once per save file. The "Mega Dimension" DLC adds new Pokémon and "Mega Evolution" features. According to Nintendo, some Pokémon encountered in this dimension may exceed level 100, surpassing the standard level cap.
The "Mega Dimension" content was previously available as a standalone DLC for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. This new physical compilation merges the base game and the expansion into a single product, offering a comprehensive package for players on the newer console.
