Singapore – Artificial intelligence company Pollo AI has launched Pollo Recast, a new tool designed to allow creators and marketers to rebuild existing videos with their own assets. The software allows users to replace elements within a video, such as characters or products, while retaining the original motion, pacing, and camera work.
Unlike tools that focus on single-layer changes like face swaps or style transfers, Pollo Recast aims to recreate the entire clip. Users provide images of their desired characters or products, which are then integrated into the original video's performance and timing. This enables brands to adapt trending video formats to their specific needs, for example, by inserting their own mascot into a viral dance or showcasing a new product in a cinematic reveal.
"Most AI video tools ask you to describe a video from scratch. Pollo Recast starts from a video that already works," said Bill Zhu, CEO of Pollo AI. "Great content rarely comes from a blank prompt. It comes from remixing something people already recognize."
